Gilgamesh - describes same event from a different perspective.
Egyptian Book of the Dead - Refers to the same place.
Jesus was foreshadowed in the mythology of the pagans.
Creation myths - the Greeks version isn't even close.
Brahma versus YHVH - that's plausible but its a real stretch.

Oh right i had to re read over it a second time.

If there heaven is perfect but angels, who live in god's presence, were able to rebel and that rebellion is wrong, then heaven is not perfect. The heaven even describes Satan talking to god about Job but if Satan is evil that means that god allows evil into heaven. If evil is allowed into heaven than, again, how is heaven perfect?

Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them. 7The LORD said to Satan, "From where do you come?" Then Satan answered the LORD and said, "From roaming about on the earth and walking around on it

Which is more likely?

1- There was this cool idea for a flood story. Maybe it even started out being about a minor flood that actually happened. Word got around about it over time, and it got distorted into lots of different stories in lots of different religions.

2- There was a massive flood, generated by a deity, for which no evidence can be found.

3 - There have been many actual floods in many actual places.  So stories of floods occur in a variety of places, some of which get exaggerated.
