Here's a list of reasons why I don't believe the quran is the word of god due to the so called scientific miracles.

1)  There is evidence that some Muslims manipulate what professionals say in order to prove these miracles. 

2)I've witnessed muslims trying to extrapolate Miracles from ridiculous verses.  For example the quran predicting unique finger prints from a verse.

3) Muslims themselves admit that the quran doesn't reveal any new scientific knowledge it, it's just that in certain translations it happens to not contradict any modern scientific ideas, that's not a miracle.

4)The conclusion of the verses being a miracle really should be the LAST conclusion on a long list of possibilities.
For example if there's ANY possibility the verse could mean something else.  If there's ANY possibility that the knowledge presented could have been known from other sources at the time.  If there's ANY possibility that the verse just simply isn't even talking about anything to do with science whatsoever.  Additionally if there's any reasonable chance of the verse coincidentally being right.

Think about this.  Some translations of the word dahaha are thought to mean rolled out, made egg shaped, spread out.
Some eggs are very elongated, not ball shaped at all, pretty much tube shaped.
So if the earth was flat, it's a miracle the quran predicted it using the interpretation of spread out!
If the earth was perfectly round like some eggs are, it's a miracle the quran predicted it using the interpretation of egg shaped!
If the earth was extremely elongated and tube shaped, it's a miracle the quran predicted it using the interpretation of egg shaped!
If the earth was shaped like any other type of egg, also a miracle using the interpretation of egg shaped.

I hope that one day you will return to this forum as an Atheist. Allow me to cite a couple of Quran verses for you and then you can tell me if they are scientifically accurate. I mean no disrespect; I'm simply trying to refute your claim that the Quran is a book of science.

Quran 33:4 says claims that no human has two hearts within their body:
Allah has not made for any man two hearts in his (one) body: nor has He made your wives whom ye divorce by Zihar your mothers: nor has He made your adopted sons
your sons. Such is (only) your (manner of) speech by your mouths. But Allah tells (you) the Truth, and He shows the (right) Way.

Yet we find stores of humans with more than one hard in their body. Take this news story for example:

But seriously, get a cup with fresh water and one with salt water (such as fresh water you added salt to) and mix them together to see what happens.

It's so painfully obvious the Quran is man made it hurts me to see people try claim it as "truth". I am sorry they made you believe the Quran. All of the apologists you get your arguments from are either really dishonest or really stupid to claim it's not man made. It's not really difficult to imagine how any scientifically illiterate person from the ancient world could come to that belief, just by basic observation. According to the 3rd century Roman writer Censorinus, Anaximander of Miletus, greatly influenced by Thales, "considered that from warmed up water and earth emerged either fish or entirely fishlike animals. Inside these animals, men took form and embryos were held prisoners until puberty; only then, after these animals burst open, could men and women come out, now able to feed themselves." So, there's nothing impressive in what you claim the Qur'an teaches.

I take it we can consider your other arguments as seriously lacking any regard for ancient literature, as the aforementioned one clearly did.
