It's one of my own "commandments" or... a code I live by. Much like the pirate's code (POTC). Tongue  It means that the friendship of a person is more important to me than the momentary pleasure of having sex with their GF/BF.

As for your question, do what you want. There's no god, so the only one who's gonna judge you is your BFF. If he/she is ok with having a threesome, then why not? Wink
