How can women be Christian?

The same way anyone else follows the church. They come up with some bullshit to justify everything.

As a woman, I say fuck that. It's just proof the bible is full of shit that the church made up. Because it reflects the cultural views at the time. Just as most of the bible does. If the Bible were truly the 'word of god' it wouldn't resemble the culture of the time.

Christianity allows women to hide behind their husbands. “Oh, I’m a Christian wife. I have to obey my husband. Sorry.”

As for verses that make women interior, Christians are programmed to look at a verse that says god hardened pharaoh’s heart and swear it doesn’t say that.

As for your partner, I don’t know enough about her to say what her reasons are. There’s something for everyone and if you don’t like what the Bible says in one place, you can just turn the page until you find something you do like. In today’s church women are taught to ignore Paul’s instructions to Timothy because Isiah said god will put out his spirit on his maid servants.
