I don't worship. I just believe. I'm sure that sounds weird to some people.
When I say incomprehensible to the human mind, I mean something we couldn't understand. Not the idea of god itself. I mean any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. If you took a 3D printer back to the middle ages, you'd hear cries of "WITCHCRAFT! WITCHCRAFT!" and then get burned at the stake.

But if you don't understand it, how do you believe it exists?

I don't understand 3D Printing, but I believe it exists. I don't see why understanding something is required for believing. I get wanting evidence. But evidence alone doesn't mean you'd understand it.

You don't get it do you?
We are atheists due to the lack of evidence we desire evidence in fact we crave evidence and valid facts.
Arguments form personal experience or even saying for the hell of it a god exist just because a god exist isn't a valid
reason to believe in a god.
Logical proposition
If a god or some type of god like being existed it would be common knowledge and no one would question it
since we do not live in that type of world/universe we live in a universe/world were a being like god does not exist.
Atheism is a non-prophet organization join today.

I think you're the one who doesn't get what I'm saying.
Comprehension is not required for belief. Some people require evidence. I said that I get that. I said it plain and clear as day. But I don't see how comprehension is required for belief.

I believe I understand what you're saying.
Seriously of course you're right. We all believe tons of things without evidence. God isn't all that uncommon so it must not be one of those that requires evidence. But I don't disbelieve in gods because of the scarcity of evidence. For me it is more about my inability to wrap my head around the idea. I think I know where god belief comes from but I don't think it is based on any being out there in the world.

**What are the big problems/issues you see in the Christian church today?
**Is your perspective of the former question from the inside (ie, your background was in church) or that of an outsider looking in? What took you away from church, if your background was church?
**What do you think about the person Jesus Christ? Is he real, historical person? Faked?
**What is the point or purpose in your life? What do you live for?
I'm especially interested in your responses to the first question!!
1. Well first off there are many sects and denominations, and each one has their own problems. But, regarding problems all around childhood indoctrination, Discriminating against LGBT people and trying to legislate laws based off the bible.
2. I know how corrupt the Church is by growing up inside it.
3. I'm not sure who Jesus was I have heard Arguments from all sides. Some say he was a completly made up figure, some think he was amalgamation of people, I think he was based off a histoitcal figure.
4. I make my own purpose in life that's the simplest way I can put it.

But you can see a 3D printer and you can see it working.

That's not really true, but I don't know that the misconception actually speaks for or against what you're trying to express. Fun fact, both the concepts and terms used in the majority of peoples understandings of the world around them have existed for thousands of years, dispersed through time and geography, granted, but not in any way indecipherable by those we mistakenly label as "primitives". Full modernity was reached @50k years ago. Whatever you know now, would have been as easily understood then by "them"...."then".
(late upper paleolithic revolution, btw....and that ones disputed on good grounds, may have been earlier)

Divinity: It is refreshing to meet a believer who doesn't feel the need to worship. I have never understood how most believers are unable to separate those two concepts.
Personally, I don't care if there's a "God" or not, because I'm not going to worship it either. I've explained this endlessly here, but some people still don't get it. They think if they can convince me a god is real, I'll start crawling on the floor and joining cults as a reflex action.
I would live my life exactly the same as I do now. I'll put the lives and feelings of those around me first, and I would assume a being as powerful as a "God" can take care of itself. A god that wants me to toady around it is a ludicrous concept, and if such a thing did exist I'd have no interest in it.
