Yes Yes, I know the bible contradicts itself and basically states you should do the opposite of this also.  But why not choose the quieter option?  Huh

Precisely why my favorite quote is: "Preach the gospel at all times and when necessary use words."

You are definitely a lot less irritating than most Christians who show up here.  That is why I am only rude to you occasionally.

My guess is, if we were neighbors, we would get along very well.  I do not discuss religion with my neighbors.

Bah I don't find you that rude but I'm quite sure we would get along very well IRL. I don't discuss religion with my neighbors either Smile

It's these fuckheads.

Wait... do you mean the fundie, or the Harry Potter fans surrounding him? Tongue
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost

I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

YES! Saint Francis of Assisi is my favorite saint. He has all the best quotes, too.  Shy
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Yes, I was about to say the same.

Most Christians don't go around preaching to people. But obviously, you only hear from the ones who do.

Nothing you posted said anything about Christians witnessing about Christ with words, those verses said to be responsible in our witness.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Here's a gem from Jesus:

Matthew 10:5 (CEV) =  "Jesus sent out the twelve apostles with these instructions:

Stay away from the Gentiles and don’t go to any Samaritan town."
