Some more choice cliches I've heard:
"You can't discuss the Bible, because you are unable to read it through spiritual eyes."
"If the Bible isn't the truth, then why has God preserved and protected it for all these years, making it the number-one best selling book in the history of the world?"
(This one's a little more fundamental Baptist-centric) "God preserved his word as a blessing to the English speaking people through his King James translation. If there were to be translation errors, God would have stepped in and intervened to prevent them."
