I don't know why anyone would care about virginity nowadays. You can test for STDs, and it's not hard to know if a kid is yours if you're worried about it. There are songs about people cheating just because guy B gives better sex than guy A. The main way to check for virginity is the hymen, which could break for several reasons not related to sex.

It's an outdated ideal.

She did it all wrong. Her daddy was supposed to get a rag and ram it up her vagina and pull it out all bloody. That's the way the Bible guys did it to prove that their daughters were virgins. Of course when the younger brother got stuck with his sister-in-law after his older brother died virginity wasn't a problem.
