Where do you stand on the existence of God?

RE: Where do you stand on the existence of God?
I hate the phrasing of this poll. You should have been here long enough now CL to know that for most of us, atheism is not a matter of 'believing god does not exist'. It's a matter of not believing.

If an anthropomorphic, aka "personal", god then my answer is I know that god doesn't exist like how I know fire burns. If impersonal/inhuman god then my answer is I don't know if that god exists or not.

My opinion:

The only version of "God" that makes the slightest bit of sense and has any reasonable chance of existing is a computer programmer or similar. Everything else is just nonsense, which I'd give a negligible probability to account for some weird cosmic coincidence.

So as there's no ignostic option, I'll go with number 4, using the computer programmer definition. I'd instead be 2 for pretty much any other definition.

"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

I have thought of sign of a simulation. Computers glitch, if something went against normal physics it would be a sign that it is generated by a computer. If, for example, a character  started to walk across room temperature water, computer programme glitch for sure. Have you seen Assasins Creed Unity?

That is no gay dog.  Look closely as he brushes up against her breasts. Watch the eyes.  He is clearly jizzing.  No, that dog is not gay.

Now that you mention it, that is kind of similar to my O-face.
