Losty, I am pretty sure EP isn't trolling, he is just behaving as he usually does everywhere.
EP, you suggested this about Thena: "Not to mention you sound a bit like a maniac. Shouldn't be looking after kids in the first place, if you ask me." which is a pretty shitty thing to say based on the discussion till that point. You don't know anything about her or why she did what she did, and you have no right to judge her. Also since you are basing this on statistics, look at https://www.childhelp.org/child-abuse-statistics or just google for other reports. For a parent, they have to be extra careful because most of the time these dangers occur from people close to or even within the family. A parent's job doesn't end with just protecting the child but ensuring the child can protect itself when needed.
People, most of you, if not all, have prior experience with EP. If you don't care for his opinions, just ignore him, but please stop derailing this further with pointless arguments.
It's amazing how much sense you can make in this case and I think it's only because we got to know each other in Mafia.
It was a shitty thing for me to say, and I didn't really mean it, I was just overreacting to something she said that hurt me. She instantly dismissed my argument because she thought I had ill intent towards her because of other posts of mine from other threads.
I don't know anything about the statistics. I was suggesting she look at them in order to better inform her actions. I know, I was basically assuming she didn't, which I shouldn't have.
Yes, I agree with everything else.
You're so nice, Magi.

Hmm. I thought there was supposed to be rage quitting happening.
I saw the post confirming it was to happen. I must say, I'm really disappointed.

A poll? Really?
How about instead of just trying to be nice for a month, you actually make it a permanent part of your personality.

Oh, I won't just try. I'll actually do it. I already supressed a snarky remark about your age in respond to yours about mine from earlier on.
It's not something I can do by myself, though. So if something upsets you, like what I just revealed to you, please tell me so I can take it into consideration the next time I talk to you.

The poll was not meant to put anyone off, by the way. I sincerely want to know if people are ready to do that for me.

Parents should be extremely honest to the point of lasting emotional trauma.
That's what mine were like, anyway. I was told at one point I was the favourite, at another point that I was a lying little shit, and then later on I was worthless compared to one of my brothers.
I was told an awful lot of other stuff I really didn't need to know. Just nothing useful.

Sweetie, nothing you say about my age is going to offend me. I've got decades of being a better bitch than you, so give it your best shot.

Were you being sarcastic just there, 'cause I totally agree that that is what they should do.
