Thank you Kitan, I love the original X-Files and was kind worried that watching the reboot might ruin the originals. I was reading through the thread and even though it's quite small at the moment, the reviews so far are positive. I hope it is as well done as the original or somewhat close it.

Watching 10.2 now and question:

How can Scully just walk away from her job at the hospital? She has patients to care for, doesn't she?

Ooo, commercial break is over...
Teenaged X-Files obsession + Bermuda Triangle episode + Self-led school research project = Atheist.

Wtf, every version I click on causes Adobe Flash crashes. I'm running the latest version of Firefox and Flash, I've tried a video Youtube, daily motion, and a other show from the site Kitan gave me they all work. The X-Files links all keep crashing, what version did you watch Clueless Morgan?

I missed tonight's episode. I didn't find out until halfway through it that it was on.

yeah! me likes that, too.... however, those IDs could use an update on the photo.

Thank FSM that it is only a mini series. I know people like it, fine, but I seriously hated that show because of seeing gullible people watching it and believing it was a documentary.

Yes, it's not too bad; it's a MOTW movie, not a mytharc movie so it stands alone from the series pretty well.

It should be stretched the other way then - fatter than before, not taller because they'd be going from 4:3 to 16:9...

But even that's not an explanation, because if they just stretched the image it would warp the faces, too, and they weren't... so I think it's a different font.

But I'd have to check.

They did, but that doesn't make it less weird from a fan standpoint - they called each other Mulder and Scully for like 8 years (plus a few episodes in season 9) and only used first names when they were talking to each others' families or in dire situations (like when Scully was in the hospital)

Time constraints... one or two is enough.

But THOSE two?  It's the Henrietta Lacks one that I don't get; from my understanding that wasn't a government-lying-to-the-people situation, that was an established-racial-prejudices-permitting-doctors-to-take-advantage-of-their-black-patients thing, coupled with the authoritarian "doctor knows best" system of medicine at the time. Undecided

Who's William?

Mulder and Scully had a baby.  He was a super-baby.  Mulder went off and died and Scully put William up for adoption to protect him.
