What a sad story. Sudden goodbyes are just the worst. Especially if you don't even get chance to say it.

Good friends are hard to lose.
The good thing is that, with social media, you can still have real time contact.
I have a friend who moved to Taiwan, of all places, about ten years ago.
Sucks, and I still miss him.
