Yeah, but surely there is some kind of limitation of executive orders or something. And couldn't the President be impeached for abusing them? I still don't think people are going to let Trump implement what he wants to do.

Executive Orders are used to set certain government pay raises; make resolutions regarding certain events; and to direct the lowering of flags to half staff for a certain period, like when a former President bites the dust.

His decision was no doubt one of the worst in American history, but I cannot help but think of the military leadership. In 41, von Rundstedt lost his job as commander, Army Group South, for telling Hitler to get bent. Why was it that only one general officer in our forces had the spine to resign his commission rather than carry out an illegal order?

As much as the decision was and is Shrub's responsibility I firmly believe that the military leadership showed cowardice in following such bullshit orders.
