You can't reasonably expect officers of the law to NOT kill you unjustly, until you personally STOP any and all crime committed by people with whom you happen to share 
similar physical characteristics. That's just common sense, dammit!

Oh please sir explain what exactly black Americans should do? While we get murdered, and have our deaths justified because we weren't "respectful" enough, weren't "quiet" enough", we looked "suspicious". Please tell us exactly what we should do when men,women, and children are seen as threatening for breathing the same air in the vicinity of white people. What exactly should we do when the police are called because we walk about our own neighborhoods? What exactly should we do when anything in our hands could be construed as a weapon? What exactly should we do when so much as lifting our arms is "reaching for a weapon"? What exactly should we do when our children are seen as "older" and more "threatening", though they look no different than other children? What exactly should we do when we can't call for help in an emergency because the police may not see a person in need of help but a criminal? Oh please tell me exactly how should we air our grievances in ways the rest of America will not ignore or rationalize as "whining", "playing the race card", or "being distruptive"? I want here your suggestions.

First off, targeting police officers for assassination and murder isn't going to get anybody anything except either a life sentence in prison or the death penalty. Secondly, take the chip off your shoulder. Stop bitching and moaning and blaming white people. Take responsibility for yourself. Nobody owes you anything. Instead of protesting and instigating murder against police officers make a real difference in your community. Organize your neighbors and your community. Take your streets back from the criminal elements. Make your community more appealing to businesses to bring in jobs. Encourage and support small business growth, for starters.

Still pissed off at all them blacks thinking they're people like you, racist? Well they're not, I've handled pond scum with better claims to humanity than you.

That's a bit optimistic. After the Australian gun ban, gun massacres went way down, massacres over all went down, but massacres using other means (knives, axes, bombs, fire, defenestration) went up. We'll still have problems. But fewer people will be murdered, and that's a good thing.

My problem with focusing on guns is that it is clear than in America, the political will to tighten control of them is not present among our elected officials. If we get rid of enough NRA-beholden politicians, common sense gun regulation will follow. I don't think the 2nd Amendment was a bad idea (though it is very poorly written). But it's nonsense to ban research on gun violence by the CDC, claim that 30-round magazines are needed in the hands of civilians, and obstruct restriction of access for citizens with disabilities or histories that make it clearly unwise to put a gun in their hands. And it's unjust to treat armed citizens differently depending on their race.

The point is they simply don't want to hear it. They want us to stop talking. Stop complaining. To shut up about things that make them uncomfortable.

How discouraging and frightening. How can people feel safe? There just isn't any degree of cooperation or manner of comportment which can keep a black man safe from police.
