RE: What happened to the war on ISIS?
I don't know.

We haven't killed enough of them yet.

They're possibly lobbing chemical weapons at our forces now instead of at women and children
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

I can not remember all the details but the Saudis are purchasing one of the largest U.S based crude oil refineries. Heard on yesterdays news. Guess who they will be purchasing their crude from? Our politicians grow up playing b-ball , they grow up playing serious chess.

Our economy isn't based on war, lol.  We spend all of our money -on- war, like a hobby.  Our economy is based upon our overwhelming productive capacity.

It's shittier, when you think about it. We're not actually a nation of arms dealers. We build all of the stuff that modern life (and fun!) is made out of. We just go a little nuts when we have billions to spare on a discretionary budget line we call "defense".

ISIS is losing.  They are being compressed into a smaller and smaller pocket.  Mosul will be a smoking ruin by the time it is done but that can't be helped.

I forgot to add the word "increasingly". Dwight Eisenhower warned us about the military industrial complex but too many politicians since have not heeded his warning. Yes, the defence budget is very saddening. And you have two crazy candidates wanting to be president.

Yeah, most of the time.

I know muslims and was in love with a muslim woman for 3 years. We are still friends and her family are a bunch of wonderful people. So , I do not lump all muslims into one pile.

However , I do lump all three books of the Abrahamic faiths into one pile. The koran is at least as bloody violent as the torah and deserves to be blamed for the tyranny of the Saudis and the violence of ISIS.

Giving "penalty" for a "crime" is not something new; everybody does it and actually, the west in precise has some severe punishments that include burying people alive in concrete boxes called "prisons".

Blood is better than "prison".
I can agree with you if you told me what's better: spending 30,000 years in jail (like the comical sentences given by western courts) or cutting the hand (the bloody sentence given by Islam).

"Yes" and "No" are English words, used by everybody, but I'm not going to stop using them just because everybody uses them.
It's the same cases with the "this is not a conspiracy theory".

Though, the problem is that here in Arabia, we're seeing a total different reality. With my two own eyes. I will never hold my eyes wrong.

Banjo

If they ever "fight" a real war though, believe me me and you won't be here talking.

Rhythm

Maybe because Russia is a partner in Sykes-Picot 2 just like it was a partner in Sykes-Picot 1 ?

Quote:The Sykes–Picot Agreement /ˈsaɪks pi.ko/, officially known as the Asia Minor Agreement, was a secret 1916 agreement between Great Britain and France,[1] to which the Russian Empire assented. The agreement defined their mutually agreed spheres of influence and control inSouthwestern Asia. The agreement was based on the premise that the Triple Ententewould succeed in defeating theOttoman Empire during World War I. The negotiations leading to the agreement occurred between November 1915 and March 1916 [2] and it was signed 16 May 1916.[3] The deal was exposed to the public in Izvestia and Pravda on 23 November 1917 and in the British Guardian on November 26, 1917.[4][5]

Saudies lack the intellectual to realize what the word "tactic" even means (literally). Ask me, they can't even scratch their armpits without western help. Or maybe without a Banghali maid or two?

It's not about Hillary and Obama and Trump. The U.S is led by people we didn't even see in our lives. Funny though because it sounds like a movie, but that's because they invested so much to make it sound like that; talk about funding Hollywood?

Just like funding ISIS?

The gulf states (including Saudi Arabia) are led by tribal families that are only at peace because of British treaties; see treaty of Darin in Wikipidia.

Everybody plays the woman card, even Kurdish fighters in Syria, the PKK made some Royale Flush advertising with its female fighters 2 years ago Smile

I know my people quite well; Saudies are nomads; Bedwins. They are foreign to the modern world, and they wasted years upon years "discovering" hookers instead of reading, burn money instead of saving. So indeed they'll end up begging the U.S for oil, despite them being the largest producers in history once upon a time.

Dont get me wrong; "A" in "ARAMCO" stands for "American".

Rhythm

"Made in China" is all I see around me.
No offence to the U.S, but we can't ignore the drowning lately?

Read history. America IS a war economy, the dollar IS a currency defined by america's wars and their conclusion.
I will ask you why the U.S invaded Iraq...
I'm already laughing

I agree that Mousil will burn.

"The military industrial complex" is one thing I remember hearing about; should check it out.

No one has ever had the experience of serving 30,000 years in prison. That list of life sentences is for murder and child rape. Cutting off the hand is for theft , correct?

Quote:"Dabiq" takes its name from a small town northeast of Aleppo where, says one Islamic hadith, the final battle between Christian West and Muslim East will ultimately be fought.

It is a plausible prediction. Dabiq lies on the shortest route between the Euphrates and the Mediterranean coast, a waypoint on the same natural highway that Sykes was seeking to control. The Assyrians, Greeks, Persians, Romans, the Ottoman Turks and Egyptian Mamelukes all fought decisive battles within 100 miles of this point. Khrushchev threatened world war in 1957 when Turkish troops massed on the border immediately to the north. The town lies in a warzone again today.

The ISIL video provoked great debate about how far the Sykes-Picot agreement could be blamed for the Middle East's chaotic state today. To argue that it is, is short-sighted.

This region, and Syria in particular, has for millennia served as an arena for great-power rivalry, of which Sykes-Picot is just a recent example. While the infamous agreement certainly aggravated the region's instability, it is not its underlying cause.

http://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/opinion...06123.html

The middle east has been a road filled with contention over it for not just 100 years, but for millennia.  To argue that Sykes-Picot is the cause of the middle east's problems is to ignore the role the region has played throughout history.
