Yep.... sadly, it's still going down. How pathetic can a person get when they constantly have to shift their goalposts in order to make a point that no one is buying anyway? I swear... that is the heart of narcissism. "No.. I'm not wrong. You are wrong and I'll argue to the death over it."  Even when presented with clear evidence that they are in the wrong... they will backpeddle, gaslight and use word salad just to get out of it.
Wouldn't it just be easier to say, "I was mistaken. I am sorry." Oh wait.. narcissists can't do that. They are incapable of admitting when they are wrong.
