How about you go get a dictionary, then we can start again when you're ready.

There are many variations of feminism. If you don't think so, google it. We want to know what about feminism you would like to discuss. This you your thread, lets hear your ideas.

Or are you the theist here just baiting the hook(s) waiting for the gotcha moment?

I'm simply asking if there could conceivably have been any kind of feminist movement. Any. What does me being a theist have to do with anything? Why are you making it an issue? And why do you feel that there's going to be a gotcha moment? Or are you just trying to distract away from the topic for some reason?

Glad I could clear that up for all of you.

bold mine

Your thread, what do you think?

Being theist, I've seen similar threads by theists putting forth a vague questions with no parameters/definitions. They usually include a gotcha moment.

Why are you so unwilling to give your thoughts on your own vague question? Seems like your are purposely not responding because you have an agenda.

If you're going to continue along this path, I'll just take a left.

Yes, in antiquity there was a strong and justified anti-pornography feminist movement that almost destroyed the world. But then god stepped in and un-invented film and VHS and the world was saved.
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

You seem very upset. It's just a simple question.

I have a much more important question. Did anything like that Dada art movement exist in prehistoric times? How would we know? Those archaeologists just think they found some old tools, but what if that was an ancient art installation? They sure tricked us.
I don't believe you. Get over it.

Women in that society could inherit and own property in their own right, could divorce a husband without cause (in which event, any property she brought into the marriage with her left with her), could have her husband fined for mistreating her, and was allowed a voice and a vote in clan decisions.

I'm not sure if that counts as 'feminism' in the current  pejorative sense, but it is leaps and bounds ahead of how women are treated in some modern societies.

I'm asking if there was any feminist movement. Feminism is a movement, right?

Then the answer is "no."  Small, highly-isolated groups of hunter-gatherers would have no capability to sustain a "movement."

Do you think it could have come about it in the first place, or that there would have been any need?

I think that would depend on the amount of roughage in their diet.

When your primary concern is will you have anything to eat tomorrow I doubt that you will find too many people looking ahead to such esoteric concepts.
