American Airlines...At Least They Didn't Throw Her Out Of The Hatch

RE: American Airlines...At Least They Didn't Throw Her Out Of The Hatch
Quote:Another passenger told Endress the woman had gotten up from her seat about halfway through the flight and did not return.

It's about a 2 1/2 hour flight from Dallas to St Paul meaning she was in that bathroom for over an hour.  Not a good sign.

Quote:“The EMT was out of line on that one,” said passenger Art Endress, of Dallas. “Also, the flight attendants could have thrown a blanket on her.”
The 63-year-old Endress said flight attendants determined a passenger was still in the restroom as they began preparations for landing, and they asked for medical assistance after finding the woman unresponsive.
A doctor and nurse on board attempted to revive her with a defibrillator, and emergency crews came on board once the plane landed.

An even worse sign.

"Dignity" rates a little behind "being alive".

Agreed, G/S, but it does seem odd that if the EMT thought there was a chance she was still alive he would treat her the same way he would treat a bag of trash being dragged off the plane.

what was up with the doctor on the flight?

was he a dermatologist ?
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Perhaps he was a Doctor of Divinity.... you know, as useful as a pair of balls on a cow.

Possibly, but getting her off the plane to meet the ambulance people would be my own priority. I'd apologize later.

Perhaps he was an aroma therapist and tried reviving her with water?

While I detest the inability in general of flight attendants to treat their customers humanely when they're alive much less dead as we can see here--I am not surprised in the slightest that it took an entire airport an hour to locate: a tarp.
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

A backboard and a few straps should have been on the plane, unless they've changed some rules.

Chiropractor.

I can't imagine defib-ing a patient while sitting up on an airline toilet. They had to have pulled her out to the cabin floor. So if naughty bits were that much of a concern why the hell was her state of undress not attended to before the EMT got there?

Maybe it was toxic.
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.
