Well, considering the entire enterprise was engineered to be a scam from the beginning, this is probably the next best thing after the standard tithe.
Religions were invented to impress and dupe illiterate, superstitious stone-age peasants. So in this modern, enlightened age of information, what's your excuse? Or are you saying with all your advantages, you were still tricked as easily as those early humans?

As a religious person, I can't really speak to that. -I mean, I know it happens, and I know it happens within my own religion, but I wouldn't put my money into some black hole like that. I may be guilty of being a little too lazy to look when the dollar amount is small, but if I'm not allowed to see the budget, then they're not getting a dime from me.
You don't have to address it. The IRS already has and, unlike all goddamn gods, the IRS does exist and generates its own scriptures!
