How did we win? They didn't have ICBMs that can credibly hit us. We said we will never tolerate their having this capability. They acquired that capability any way. We threw a big tantrum and threatened hell and high water. They still have that capability. No hell, no high water.

Every step they got what they wanted. We focused world attention on our utter powerlessness to prevent it by throwing a tantrum. Now the whole world sees the threats of the alledge superpower is hollow and the superpower is utterly powerless.

I think the DPRK's approach in this round of tension has not been aimed at driving a military confrontation, but rather showing the world exactly what sort of fool we have in the Oval Office. And they succeeded probably beyond their wildest dreams.

He's gone back and forth in the last couple of days. That speaks to a lack of will if nothing else. He's torn between saying the right thing and speaking his mind. That is a weakness. He'll back down on that too.
