OP: maybe because some of us consider the suppression of a woman's personal identity creepy and degrading.
Basically the same as this:

I can only guess what Neo is posting since I have his nonsense on ignore, but I can guess it still boils down to,
Neo "Bu bu bu bu, in this case it's different."
NO Neo,
"That was then, this is now" applies to everyone.

Definitely photo-shopped. Compare the shadows on the garbage bags on each side and car on the left.

Not sure if anyone has pointed this out yet, but a burka is not a head scarf. Not even close.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

The original joke that went with it was something like....
"Why did she get upset with me just because I said she had 3 beautiful daughters?"

See, for that joke, some photoshopping was justified.

I dont mind a head scarf, but I find something like the burka dehumanizing. You're reducing a person down to a sexual temptation... taking away their face, their human shape, their identity, everything...

. . . in the name of a false religion
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

It also demeans men, implying all of them are no better than bearded Muslims evidently incapable of the least resistance to the basest animal urges.
