On what basis is there cause for a lawsuit?  Are the subsidies written into law?  Where does the money to fund them come from?  What kind of contract exists between the insurance companies and a particular office of the federal government?  

IMO it's stupid to pay the insurance companies because they don't add any value to the process.   It would be better if the federal government ran the system on the Medicare model and offered a series of graduated programs like the insurance companies do in addition to the basic 80% plan.  

The insurance companies could continue to exist but they would have to compete with the federal plans as well as with each other.

The problem is that a dumb bunny judge said that the subsidies were illegal and the assholes on the appeals court have been dragging their feet in hearing the case.  Now at least 20 States are filing a lawsuit to reinstate the subsidies.  When the idiot wrote the ACA he had his head up his ass and screwed it up and the stupid Dems were too retarded to read and understand the crap that the fool wrote and that they approved.  Now the moron is running loose and his actions will kill people.
