If anything, you're Monica job might lead to a Trump impeachment.

I'd have far more respect than that. I'd just wash the damn shirt.

The Office of the Presidency of the United States has acted in bad faith. We can't trust the american government to adhere to it's agreements, or to pay it's bills. They're going to be sued, and they're going to lose.
-and then, you'll pay for that too.
You're clapping at Scrotus for having ensured that an even larger subsidy will be paid to insurers and their lawyers, even as hardship is inflicted on the american populace. On what basis is there cause for a lawsuit? Are the subsidies written into law? Where does the money to fund them come from? What kind of contract exists between the insurance companies and a particular office of the federal government?
IMO it's stupid to pay the insurance companies because they don't add any value to the process. It would be better if the federal government ran the system on the Medicare model and offered a series of graduated programs like the insurance companies do in addition to the basic 80% plan.
The insurance companies could continue to exist but they would have to compete with the federal plans as well as with each other.

It's not an issue of what you think is smart or stupid, and I appreciate that you have opinions here..so do I, but so what? The ACA set obligations for the government as well as insurers..and insurers created, sold, then set their policies based upon those stated obligations..and all of this, they will argue.... cost them money.

The problem is that a dumb bunny judge said that the subsidies were illegal and the assholes on the appeals court have been dragging their feet in hearing the case. Now at least 20 States are filing a lawsuit to reinstate the subsidies. When the idiot wrote the ACA he had his head up his ass and screwed it up and the stupid Dems were too retarded to read and understand the crap that the fool wrote and that they approved. Now the moron is running loose and his actions will kill people.

That's not a problem for the insurers.

I'm acutely set for 9 months at a moderate usage rate.

More than you. Decent home, own my own business, zero loans, 120 employees, eight contracts standing for the next 4 years, and I have white privileged with a black wife that gets me out of arguments of white privileged. We all use racial slurs from both sides around the house though so it's okay.
