Black people have different features too
See above
Same goes for natives . I look nothing like my great grandparents . And some of my nephews don't look native but they are .

Yes, race is an idea, not a fact.
I'm not convinced that some producer had this kid get into a watermelon costume as a racist prank and without the boy's and mom or dad's permission.
I tried to look this up on other websites but couldn't find any other stories, much less any factual evidence that this was a racist prank. It's a distraction, in my opinion.
What if the boy is biracial? Is the costume still racist then? Half racist?

I don’t think this was racist, guys. Not even accidentally. They had a variety of kids, ages and cultures. Can we applaud that, instead?

c'mon, I got dressed as a tomato in my school play and I loved it.
Also, watermelons are sweet, squishy, and delicious, just like children it is us adults (or rather faux-adults) who seem bent on making everything about racism. People are also freaking out over silly Moana and Maui costumes... sometimes I find children are more mature than adults.

The answer to the last point would be yes

The article is so misleading too. Not only is it very questionable whether that boy is actually black (my guess would be no, the fine/smooth hair is kind of a giveaway), but it said that the white kids got to be cool things while the "black" kid was a fruit. Umm, there were 2 other white kids there dressed as fruit. And a black girl dressed as some kind of fuzzy white animal.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
