Oh, trousers. Now I get it. Over here pants and vests are underwear.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Jeans or Khaki's. I don't think there's anything special about the way I put them on or take them off.

I will note that I hate the way they slide down my waist by my 6th step, pull them up, and repeato. Seemingly no matter the size.

Try suspenders. I don't personally wear them, but they'll do the trick.

Or if you don't have suspenders, braces will do.

As I posted recently in a game on a FB group, regarding the differences between US and UK English, "suspenders are not worn over the shoulders. Unless you're very lucky."

I don't think I usually wear the types of shirts that go with suspenders.

Reminds me of the recalled Star Trek TOS underwear line. Apparently the Nichelle Nichols bra was ok, as was the Takei stockings and suspenders set; however the Shatner knickers didn't sell very well.
