I saw this thread and thought “Oh no, he’s going to claim the illegal knowingly committed murder when the jury clearly believed he stupidly shot a gun and the bullet ricocheted into someone else”
Good to see I can predict some “Acts of ‘I-don’t-fucking-understand-the-Law’”
America is a Land of Laws, right AT? Have you got evidence to show the case was carried out improperly?

Now as far as the case is concerned it's a fact that Kate was shot by an illegal alien who had no right to be in the country. How the guy came into possession of the gun in unclear. He said he found it. The gun belonged to a cop who did not maintain proper control of it and he either misplaced it or else it was stolen. So that's on him. There's no evidence that the illegal alien stole the guy or bought it from a possible thief.
The jury heard the case and decided that it was an accident and refused to convict the illegal alien for causing Kate's death. So if the jurors loved ones suffer a similar misfortune as Kate they shouldn't whine if the person responsible also gets off just like they let the illegal alien get off.
The bottom line of our system is that the illegal alien is not classified as a murderer because he did not commit murder under our legal system. He's just an illegal alien. Hell, Berkeley will probably give him a full scholarship once he gets out of jail.

Undocumented Immigrants commit a proportionately lower amount of crime than native born Americans. Some right wingers knowingly make a bigger deal out of proportionally lower number of crimes. A theist, why not expel you and me instead, since we're more likely to commit crimes.

The people who should also go to prison are the governing body in California. If we're worried about shootings, we should probably ban white men from owning guns. Mass shootings tend to be perpetrated mostly by white men, from what I've heard. I myself don't own a gun, because I don't want people worried about me walking up to the school I live near, and shooting a bunch of kids.

Wednesday, a 9th grader in Red Lion school district ( we just took the boys out of that district in September when they came to live with us), brought a loaded handgun to school. The gun had 7 bullets in it.
That school is less than 4 miles from my house.
But .... you know.... there's NO problem with guns in this country.

I don't see how anything she said can be construed as whinning.
