I want to be cremated while my body is still fresh (and as fresh as possible!) I'd die more peacefully knowing that my body went out like a fire. 
The idea of rotting flesh, maggots crawling all over my body and my abdomen bursting open exposing my guts due to all the gas accumulated is... extremely disgusting to me. I'd rather be cremated, and I want my ashes to be put inside an urn and the urn inside a small crypt (I don't want my urn to end up in someone else's living room, sorry grandma!) with my name and info engraved on it, and that's it.
I don't want my ashes to be scattered because I don't want to be food for other animals. (Selfish to death I know.) 
Althought I haven't talked about this with my family. My mother's family buries their dead and my father's family cremates them. So it's going to be complicated in case I died. So I guess I'll have to write a will or something.

See, I like the idea of being eaten like that. I like the idea of my material form being recycled into bacteria and flies and, if I'm lucky, some coyotes or a cougar.
Just not yet.

Where I'm from organ donation is an opt-out thing.... so due to the natural human inertia, we're almost all organ donors! YAY!
After that, I've told people to dispose of me as cheaply as possible. It seems cemetery space requires an annual fee, so turned to ashes seems the cheapest way to go. And then, whoever's there can do whatever they want... keep ashes in a box, an urn, a chest, a jack-in-the-box...?... meh, eventually, the contents will be overturned, the box will break, the urn will fall to the floor and I will turn into a pile of trash or something.... I don't care.

I love the idea of a Viking burial, but I won't have the money for that.
So plan B is to donate my organs and leave the rest to history, i.e. throw my corpse in the nearest bog with possessions for future historians to dig up and marvel at the elaborate burial rituals of their savage ancestors.

I don't care what happens with my body after death...
the only thing i care about is that everyone will make sure that i'm definitely dead!!!
I don't want to wake up in the coffin ... 
I'm a declared donor, so i have nothing to worry about, huh?!
I don't think i'll wake up without my heart or something like this 
but wait a moment.. will my organs be useful at all?

Sounds complicated. Maybe you could give half to your mother's side to bury and half to your father's side of the family to cremate? I would recommend not doing an open casket if you opt to split your remains in this way, unless you do the splitting after the viewing. At least with ashes you know you won't become part of a zombie horde prowling for live human brains.
Nothing wrong with being selfish about how your remains are to be dealt with, not clear how anyone else would really get a say in it .. unless they needed an organ that you were done with.

My liver and kidneys have been tested to almost destruction for decades, they would be worth a fortune on the open market.
