Jeff Sessions Rescinding Obama era pot rules

RE: Jeff Sessions Rescinding Obama era pot rules
Don't fall for the feint, distraction, dodge or deflection;

the fastest growing cause of death is opiate abuse. Todays tempest in a tea kettle is designed to distract from the colossal death toll of opiates.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

-an industry which -does- get sweet, sweet guvmint kickbacks.

Go figure.

Obviously weed needs lobbyists like the ones big pharma employs.  Time for the stoners to step aside and let advocacy pros work their magic in bribery.  100k in everyones pocket (a drop in the bucket compared to industry revenue) and an agreed upon future interest in a percentage of sale or a position in consultancy for the industry after retiring from "public service" should do the trick.

Recreational weed would be legal everywhere by the end of the session. Voila, desk cleared and now we can tackle the pill problem without diversion and a ton of extra law enforcement and task force labor hours freed up to do so.

(Oh know, I know, "It can't be that easy"...well, it certainly looks like it's exactly that easy. I doubt it will happen...but it's a proven model for interested parties when it comes to our representatives.)
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Apparently Colorado's Republican senator is not happy that Jeff Sessions and Donald Trump lied to his face about this. He says he will block every single department of Justice nominee unless they reverse this decision. Don't fuck with people's weed.

This is BS. Marijuana should be legal on a federal level. Angry

The states can and will fight back they won't let it go that easily not even colorado.
Colorado won't take it they make a lot of money not to mention when florida goes fully legal
and we are medical legal state and we just started. Hell no it's already too late to keep marijuana illegal on the federal level
and its pointless and worthless.

That's the main states income he won't let anyone fuck with it. Marijuana is doing good for the state.

Just curious. How many here have purchased legal weed?

I have, in colorado.

It was weird the first time, but the employees helped me relax pretty fast.

Watched the vid with Sen Gardners grandstanding. PoS could help by introducing a bill to remove weed from controlled substances.

Just never thought I'd see the day a Republican senator would threaten a Republican president over keeping marijuana legal.

Probably didn't hit him until they did it to him.

Well moral relativism is dead and well most people and well republicans and democrats agree marijuana is safe and the drug war is a failure. I do agree with you on that but again sessions is fucking with a states income. Im just waiting for it to turn fully legal in my state otherwise count wise its legal where i live just not state wide for recreational use.

"But you said you'd never do that to me!" - Every person Trump screwed over.

It's obvious that the members of the Trump administration for the most part have a terrible pre-Whitehouse record of keeping their deals and their agreements.
