Are you trying to say that belief in Jesus being the son of god, his torture, death, and subsequent resurrection aren’t a requirement to get into heaven?

I mean, I know the latest Pope has claimed that anyone that’s a good person gets in, but from what I understand, that’s definitely not the opinion of Protestants.

That’s a different question... but I believe that Jesus needs to be Lord in order to stand for you. It’s not just an acknowledgment.

Ah, well that will never happen. I have a Thomas Paine ‘appreciation’ for all forms of royalty, including the supposed divine.

Why is that?

I gave RR the floor, and he ducked out.

Yes.. and because of your previous tactics of doing so, and then bitching when I do, and then you where just feigning to care at all. I am disinclined to acquiesce to your request. I’m not interested in changing topics, just because you think I should jump.

Because I have a very real issue with being lorded over. A benign dictator is still a dictator.

So, rather than puttin’ up, you’re appealing to motive and shuttin’ up?  Got it.

Just not asking “how high” everytime you want to say jump and switch topics.... I’m not upset or ignoring you... but not interested in going out of context either. Also, I wasn’t reallly trying to imply anything about your motives.

We still don't have any clarity on what magic books says about the necessity of belief in christ.  You'd think that would be something a christian™ would practically trip over themselves to affirm. There have to be piles and piles of door to door christians just -dying- to be given so much as the opportunity.

Dying, ofc, because we literally murder their faces with our mean words, and for this..they then faithfully refuse to spread the gospel of their lord and savior.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
