What beliefs would we consider reasonable for a self proclaimed Christian to hold?

No, *you* are incapable of considering that maybe, just maybe, you don't actually have truth.

No, you are wrong again. I know I have the truth because I know that the living God is real and has done exactly what He has promised and much more.

Um . . .

er . . .

I think Scripture is pretty clear the requirement is to BELIEVE. I think other Believers would be more comfortable with your claim if you used the Bible approved verbiage. Why run the risk of doing it wrong by claiming 'knowledge' instead of 'belief' ??
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Stop saying happenstance right now.

Why, that is what it is.

Too bad for you abiogenesis is science unlike creationism which is cultism

Abiogenesis is just a bunch of hypothesis about how life may have began. It is just a collection of happenstance possibilities. There is nothing reliable or factual about it. Therefore you either see the complexities of life and realize that happenstance is not realistic or you don't really understand that life must have been created by intelligent design. Sorry you do not see abiogenesis for what it really is.

Oh yeah, one of the two possible explanations for this shit, except there are numerous explanations. You have nailed yourself to one particular silly explanation and argue the toss in favour of it.

No it is you who does not see it for the scientific idea it is . And the cultist nonsense ID is . Your ignorance and denialism will not change that .

It is funny that you would claim that I am ignorant. You probably had to look up abiogenesis to see what it meant. So which of the hypotheses do you believe?

I claim it because you show it . And i hazard you're just repeating lines you got from some hack creationist webshit.

Quote:You probably had to look up abiogenesis to see what it meant.

I'm fully aware of the scientific theory and the proposals of how it happened. And nope i have been debating  moron creationists for decades .

Quote:So which of the hypotheses do you believe?
The proposals of the THEORY of abiogenesis are all possible . All have a good degree support . And some even overlap . i'm  fond of Metabolism First but RNA world is likely as well(thou the two don't think they  necessarily conflict )  . Regardless it does not alter your demonstrated  ignorance .

FYI nobody believes in Abiogenesis. Belief is reserved for your cultist drivel.
