I visited Perth a couple of times with a battle group. The town was swarming with sailors who had been in the Persian Gulf for five months. Luckily, all you had to do to score was to be polite to the ladies. Evidently they weren't used to that.

Perth Girls are Easy.

They certainly made us feel welcome.

We were told that ladies had to come to Perth from as far away as Sydney. A battle group, with ~10,000 young men, draws attention. You might say the ladies had expectations based on the reputation of American sailors. We tried not to disappoint.

Australian foreplay; In bed,  man jabs woman in ribs, sharply, and asks  "You awake?" 

This works really well if she's a bit deaf;  same scenario ,another poke in the ribs. Our Romeo asks.  " Do you want to go to sleep, or what?"

Oh yes, Aussie males are up there with the French as lovers (at least in our own minds)

The casual way Aussie males treat women is largely true. The introduction of feminism was especially difficult for us.  Far too hard for many Aussie blokes. So they simply ignored it. I wish I could say I'm joking, but I ain't.
