You can clone someone...

RE: You can clone someone...
Historical figure, huh? Einstein.
As for a member of the forums, I guess I'd go with hammy. He's my only close friend on here.

One is an historical figure of your choice.

The second, by some random law of the universe, has to be a member of the forum.

Who would you clone and why?

I'll give my answer later, once I've thought through my own question...

Historical figure....? I have a dilemma .... Archimedes or Nikola Tesla....or maybe Marie Curie-Skłodowska???
Ok... Nikola Tesla won! I want Nikola here!!!
And member of the forum, she said....hmm... interesting ..very interesting Tongue
I can clone you for fun ... you always make me smile ... I can clone each of you here because I feel good with you, but honestly, I would like to clone my best friend, but who?.... this is my sweet secret  Tongue

Lol I do too. It was always hilarious how he's the only theist I've ever met who outright says that his own belief is irrational and it's silly to expect belief in God to be reasonable, lol.

The only real frustrating part was how no matter how many times I explained it he never understood that by my refusing to believe in God without evidence, it didn't imply that I was expecting to find evidence. He always thought that the fact that I believe God is unfalsifiable means I'm expecting there to be evidence for something that there can't be evidence for. Of course I'm not expecting there to be evidence for God. He never really got that when I ask for evidence, it's rhetorical, to prove a point that the theist can't do it. He was always like, "Well why do you ask for it then?"... he never understood just how silly it is to believe anything without evidence.

There was a poster here that had a quote from fr0d0 in their sig, of fr0d0 literally saying "Belief in God is irrational", which is a direct quote from him lol. I forget who it is, but that poster may actually still have that quote in their sig, lol.

I do love how fr0d0 at least owned the fact his belief was 100% faith-based and 0% rational, at least he was consistent on that. Unlike the cherry-picking self-contradictoriness that most theists display. It kind of reminded me of this quote from Kant:

Immanuel Kant Wrote:I have therefore found it necessary to deny knowledge in order to make room for faith.

^ Any theist who truly 100% embraces this idea, that fr0d0 very much did, I'm going to think is 100% irrational and batshit nuts on this matter, but at least they get my respect for being less hypocritical and more consistent.

I'd respect someone like MK more, for example, if he accepted something like this rather than convincing himself that there is proof of God when there just fucking isn't. If you're irrational, at least admit it.
