It's Scripture for the Jesus people now, why not everybody ?? The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

There's no way of avoiding it though, she's not going to repent for something she doesn't feel the need to repent for. That'd be fucking stupid. Also some eternal punishment for having sex with her wife, for her, would be worse than worse eternal punishment for actually doing things she considers bad. The psychological aspect to torture. Going to a prison where they give you crappy food for life for littering isn't necessarily better than going to prison where they give you crappy food and lashings every day for murdering people. The murderer has it better than the litterer psychologically.
