Christ did end up being crucified you know. It's not Christian to water down your positions in order to be popular.

Is this a non sequitur I see?

I don't think it was to compare trolling to Chad tho. I think you missed the point of what she was saying.

What does that have to do with this? Nothing, that's what. They come here. Are you saying that we should handle them with kid gloves so that their feelings don't get hurt? You haven't been here long so I'm just going to say that some people here invite the backlash they get.

No one said he was. What's the point here?

Mathilda was telling her trolling story as a comparison to Chad.

And she was using her trolling as an example of poor behavior, not as a condemnation of Wooters as a troll. [Image: Eye_Roll.gif]

"New game: rank our resident theists from least to most hypocritical." from Mark needs to continue here.
Mark is being especially cheeky today! lol

I vote all theists here to be on an equal footing.
If CL is offended by this, then she needs to be more vocal as to why!

Never said he was.

Yes, because I was being odious and obnoxious on a discussion forum and being unpopular because of it. For me it was deliberate. For Chad it's because that's the way he is. You could easily make the same argument about me at the time because I didn't know how else to socially interact. We both had our reasons but the effect was the same. And my point is that the reasons are irrelevant. That's why the comparison is relevant.

I don't know about anyone else, but if any of our current Christian theists leave the site, I will miss them.

Examplers of Christ. Hmmm! I don't know why I would want to be like GC , Alpha Male, Chad, or Drich. That "Jesus wants me for a sunbeam" aspect of Christianity always comes across as vanity to me.
