What are you feeding your dog?

It would seem that we might not be feeding our beagle/dachshund mix enough. She's been snacking on the Maltese dog's butt nuggets.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

I don't have a dog.
But I recently fed my neighbours' dog my neighbours.

Flash and Frost (our pitbulls) get Kibble and Bits. They like it, and it did well for our previous dogs no matter how bad everyone says it is. Every once in a while they'll get a cooked Egg as a treat.
Our cat will ONLY eat Walmart brand catfood. We've tried everything else, but she won't eat it. You could give her caviar, and she'd turn her nose up at it and only want Walmart brand catfood. If they quit making it, I'd worry about her. (She's getting up there in age now. I think she's 17 or 18) She won't eat mice either. She'll play with it, but no way is she eating it. (She's pretty spoiled) Honestly I think exercise is more important for dogs than diet. Of course too much sodium is bad for them. But I think all the expensive health food brands aren't all they're cracked up to be. (And we can't really afford them anyway. Not if our kids want to go to college, and have a roof over their head)

To much protein is as bad for dogs as it is for humans, dogs that get little exercise should be on a medium protein diet, dogs that get plenty of exercise should be on high protein diets. Dogs are reliant on protein and fat because it is what their ancestors made their living on. Any good quality dog food with the right amount of protein and a high content of fat are what anyone should feed. I have show dogs as most of you know (rottweilers) and they do well on Pro plan Focus or Savor, both come in a variety of flavors so we mix them up to keep thing interesting. Feeding a dog grain is good for them just as it is good for humans to have roughage, it helps with cleaning their intestines. also feeding your dog once a day by their weight as recommended by the food manufacture keeps your dogs consistent in the time of day they need to poop, with water available 24/7. Over feeding is the number one problem with dogs, if you do not thinks so just look at all the fat dogs out there. Routine exercise and social time is also helpful for a dogs health and mindset. So dog foods with grains and veggies with the right amount of quality meat protein and fat is good for your dog unless they have an allergy to some ingredient/s. The most expensive foods are the ones the companies want you to buy, the best foods are the ones that your dog does well on and doesn't cost you an arm and a leg.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
