I just wonder, if a person wants to marry you, and will kill his/her child to show that he/she really loves you, will you love this person better???
Jesus was a Jewish apocalyptic prophet who was born in north Galilee. After coming of age, Jesus began preaching the end of the World, namely, that an angel from Heaven ("the Son of Man") would come down (Jesus, as with his other contemporaries, believed in a flat Earth) and deliver the Jewish People from the Romans. After a year or two of preaching, Jesus was persuaded to take his message to Jerusalem. A short time after arriving Jesus went to the Temple and began preaching; a scuffle ensued, and Jesus was promptly arrested by a Roman guard and taken to a Roman jail cell. He was examined by a Roman official and deemed to be guilty of sedition against the Empire. After a brief consultation with the local Jewish authorities (the Romans were, of course, federalists), Pilate signed the order for Jesus' execution without ever meeting him in person.
Jesus was executed by crucifixion; after his death, his body was removed and tossed into a nearby pit where it was consumed by ravenous dogs.

First in scripture, the Church is presented as the bride of Christ. You also seem to be missing a few things. While it does say that the father gave his son, it is also clear that Christ gave his own life freely. That he sacrificed himself so that others may live. Which this essay also seems to omit is the why.
Whether on purpose or out of ignorance, this seems a straw man, and a distortion of the Gospel.
It is said that an argument is what convinces reasonable men and a proof is what it takes to convince even an unreasonable man. - Alexander Vilenkin
If I am shown my error, I will be the first to throw my books into the fire. - Martin Luther

I'm pretty sure most True Christians subscribe to this:
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

I have not figured you out yet. You start threads that are fairly juvenile--which is okay--you may be a juvenile. There is no attempt to actually think about your post in any kind of context. You just take random thoughts out of context and draw these quick conclusions that either a) have nothing to do with anything or b) are actually mischaracterizations of the belief. You don't have a firm grasp on what Christians actually believe yet you feel the compunction to start new threads constantly that criticize some aspect. It's almost as if you just want a bunch of people to agree with your point regardless if it is actually a good point. Well, if that is your goal you came to the right place. These people love straw man arguments and rarely will call you out on one.
If that is not your goal, a good discussion practice is to present your opponents belief as honestly and generously as possible and then tell why you still think the belief is wrong or leads to some sort of problem.
For instance, it is trivially easy to see that God did not kill his child. Jesus is God. So, there is no other way to see this other than God sacrificed himself. Additionally, did God sacrifice himself to show his love or was there a purpose to that sacrifice and that purpose showed his love? You mischaracterize two important points in one sentence. You are efficient!

For starters, have you read the article?

Secondly, why should I talk to a heretic?
I liked the parts where these old yahoodies tolchock each other and then drink their Hebrew vino, and getting onto the bed with their wives' handmaidens.

Did Rome and Romans need Christianity?
