First of all, the belief that "the Jews killed Christ" is a fairly ambiguous one, and in some roundabout fashion seems to implicate all Jews (even those living in modern times) in the crime. Methinks it's just justification for one's desire to alienate an out-group. Second, the whole thing was supposedly orchestrated by celestial forces. The "lamb's blood" needed to be shed for the new and everlasting covenant, right? It's really stupid to fault Jews for their participation in something that was divinely ordained. According to the Gospels, when Peter suggested to Jesus that he try to avoid being crucified, Jesus called him "Satan." WTF, people! If a Jew participates in the crucifixion he's called a "Christ killer" and if he tries to stop it, he's "Satan." Damned if you do, damned if you don't... RE: Who killed Jesus?

I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

It was suicide by Roman.

The movement, which had become a largely Gentile movement, needed to distance itself from the Jews, who had openly rebelled against Rome. That's how we end up with Pilate supposedly conflicted about sending a royal pretender to the cross, washing his hands of responsibility, Jews baying at him for Jesus' crucifixion, etc. RE: Who killed Jesus?

Scripture is very clear Holy Ghost went unto Virgin Mary's pubescent po-po and did the spermitization, so Holy Ghost is Jesus' daddy. Ain't the Trinity weird and wonderful ?? And even True Believers out running around EXPLAINING the Trinity don't get it right either. The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
