I just wonder, if a person wants to marry you, and will kill his/her child to show that he/she really loves you, will you love this person better??? Huh

And this has what to do with the killing of a fictional character?

John 3:16

This is one of your fellow shitheads claiming this.  Not me.  I couldn't give a shitcare less about your stupid fucking bible.

Quote:John 3:16 says the reason Jesus came to earth and died on the cross is so we could be forgiven of our sins and have eternal life. Since none of us are worthy, Jesus’ death on the cross is the only way God will accept us.

Ah.  The conservative "stand your ground" defence.

Remember that would only work for shooting Middle Eastern Jewish Jesus, not All American white Jesus.

😊

It's actually from a (very) old joke:

Sean and Mick are at the wake of the latter's father, and Sean is bored out of his skull.  He leans over to Mick and whispers, 'I could do with a pint.  Let's slip out to the pub for a bit.'

Aghast, Mick says, 'Are yez daft?  I can't leave me own da's wake.'

'Oh, aye, aye.  Course yer can't,' says Sean.  After a bit, he leans in again and says, 'We'll take him with us, then?'

'WHAT?', says Mick.  'Yer stone mad, ye are! Take me poor, departed da to a pub??'

'Listen,' whispers Sean. 'We'll take a table in the back, where it's well dark.  We'll prop him against the wall, wrap his hand round a glass.  Who's to know?'

Mick stares at his friend in horror, then the (Irish) logic of the situation comes clear, and he agrees.

With no little amount of trouble, they manage to get the corpse out of the house and across the road to the local.  In a wink, everything's fixed - Sean and Mick are having their pints, and the old fella's propped up, glass in hand.

As generally happens in jokes like this, one pint turns to several, and Sean and Mick head for the facilities.  The barman takes the opportunity to clear the empties from the table and tries to make small talk with the dead man.

'Evening, sir.'  Nothing.

'I said, "Good evening, sir."  Silence.

'Are ye all right there, sir?', says the barman and gives the corpse's shoulder a gentle shake.  Just as the body thuds to the floor, Mick steps out of the jacks and yells, 'Whatever have ye done to me father??'

The barman steps back and says, 'I never woulda touched him, but he pulled a gun on me.'

Sean is walking through the streets of Belfast one night when a voice from a dark alley says, "Catholic or protestant?"

Thinking fast, Sean says, "Neither, I'm Jewish!"

There's silence for a moment and then the voice from the dark says, "Well, that must make me tge luckiest Palestinian ever!"

RE: Who killed Jesus?
"One of my friends who used to be a pastor in Illinois was preaching to a group of prisoners in a state prison during Holy Week several years ago. At one point in his message, he paused and asked the men if they knew who killed Jesus.

Some said the soldiers did. Some said the Jews did. Some said Pilate. After there was silence, my friend said simply, “His Father killed him.

Just as Abraham lifted the knife over the chest of his son Isaac, but then spared his son because there was a ram in the thicket, so God the Father lifted his knife over the chest of his own Son, Jesus — but did not spare him, because he was the ram; he was the substitute."

This is pretty interesting. It was said, "You shall not commit murder" (Exod. 20:13)

Crucifixion of Jesus was a murder (the trial was a mistrial, https://rcg.org/pillar/0902pp-trjtwi.html
and it was premeditated.)

When God commits murder, is it a sin or not?  Huh
If it is not a sin, then is anything sinful for God?
Coveting a married woman, is it sinful for God?

Also, Jesus got killed and went to the underworld

it reminds me of something

"Uranus imprisoned Gaia's youngest children in , deep within Earth, where they caused pain to Gaia."
"Cronus learned from Gaia and Uranus that he was destined to be overcome by his own sons, just as he had overthrown his father. As a result, although he sired the gods DemeterHestiaHeraHades and  by Rhea, he devoured them all as soon as they were born to prevent the prophecy. "

Was NT inspired by Greek mythology?
I liked the parts where these old yahoodies tolchock each other and then drink their Hebrew vino, and getting onto the bed with their wives' handmaidens.

RE: Who killed Jesus?
And note, Jesus had 2 trials, one preceding His Thursday crucifixion, and another preceding His Friday execution. It's the only way to reconcile these 2 inerrant accounts in Holy Scripture. And since those same Scriptures clearly record a Maundy Thursday AND a Good Friday crucifixions, we have even more supporting Scriptural evidence Jesus was crucified twice.

Matthew 27 (KJV)
11 And Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And Jesus said unto him, Thou sayest.
12 And when he was accused of the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing.
13 Then said Pilate unto him, Hearest thou not how many things they witness against thee?
14 And he answered him to never a word; insomuch that the governor marvelled greatly.

John 18 (KJV)
33 Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews?
34 Jesus answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of me?
35 Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done?
36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
