To Christians it is very important how Jesus looks like because Christianity is a product and Jesus is like a used car salesman. Therefore there are many visual versions of Jesus because it is very important to Christians that the seller looks nice and like them because that gives them illusion of trust. I mean would you buy a car from an ugly hunchback dwarf?
