A 22 long rifle is a lethal weapon. I've seen many 1000 lbs steer dropped with a single headshot.
I don' t give a shit WHAT ammo you stick in a 9mm. Unless you use poison on the bullet - It's still going to be outclassed by anything with a larger case capacity.
It's always going to be a little bullet.
If you believe otherwise- you don't understand physics and you believe advertising hype.

In Maine you can't hunt moose with a .22 rifle. I suppose if one were allowed to put the muzzle right against the moose's forehead...

Mental health care laws are NOT there to punish anyone. Again I am tired of this bullshit.
You wouldn't want a police officer who was a domestic abuser to have a gun, or even that job. You wouldn't want that same police officer to suffer PTSD only to go on to hurt himself or his own family members. When we send our military off to war, even the ones who make it through, can and do come back, only to commit suicide or murder their spouse because of the PTSD.
Now again where the fuck were my rights being only 6 years old, when my dad, WHO LEGALLY BOUGHT his firearms, got drunk and fired his 38 with me in the room?
Sorry there are people that should not have firearms. Anyone who makes threats to a business, or school or to co workers or family, should be at a minimum checked out and warned, but if it is repeated behavior, that is a clear sign that that person is not mentally fit to have a firearm.
Prevention is not oppression, so fucking knock it off. Civilians are not trained at the same level as our law enforcement or our military. It makes no sense to give laypeople a blank check and not insure that whomever we sell them to is stable.

Gun fondlers need less snowy slopes, then.

It's just a cover for gun fondling.

DAMN, they got me. I want to round up all firearm owners, and stick them in ovens........... <-----Is the bullshit the industry/NRA/NSSF sell them.
It can't be that I merely don't want to live in a society where I have to fear getting my head blown off merely for leaving my house.
I seriously would highly recommend those who needlessly fear our side, to take a vacation to Brisbane, or Tokyo. They don't have to fear getting shot in public, and their law enforcement don't have to fear getting shot by the public.
We live in a nation, where stupid parents thought it would be fun to have their daughter shoot an uzi at a gun range. The dumbass "instructor" got himself killed because he was too stupid to consider that her small arms were not strong enough to handle the recoil. And that was in an allegedly controlled and "safe" environment.
Some would argue, "He took that risk, so what was wrong with it?" How about the PTSD that that girl will suffer for the rest of her life knowing she accidentally killed him?

Firearms ARE NOT LIVING HUMANS DUMBASS!
Humans have rights, objects do not have rights. I am sorry someone scared the shit out of you and painted safety advocates as evil. We are not evil for pointing out the vile marking of the makers using fear to pit you against me. GROW THE FUCK UP. Nobody wants a war asshole.
You remember this bullshit the next time a school, or bar, or business office gets shot up.
Prevention is not oppression.
Australia is not a dictatorship. NZ is not a dictatorship. Japan is not a dictatorship. Canada is not a dictatorship. England is not a dictatorship. They are all our allies and also free and open pluralistic societies. If they can do it, we can too.
Banning assault weapons is oppression. We should have something similar to what the military carries.
I know nobody wants a war. That is why we still have firearms.

Do you live in an area where your apartment or home are in constant threat? I lived in a moderately high-crime area in D.C. and I didn't even feel that way.
This is an insane world and there is no such thing as crime free zones.

Of course the industry will want to protect itself. But, what the founders intended is clear in their writings and speeches.

No it is not asshole. Just like you cant do 100mph in a 25mph school zone.
I AM NOT YOUR ENEMY SO FUCKING KNOCK IT OFF.
I am sorry the NRA scared the shit out of you needlessly, but that is your baggage, not mine. Nobody is out to get you.
If you cant hit an intruder, or a deer with a regular riffle or 6 round revolver, then odds are you have no business owning a firearm of any kind.
Spray weapons are not intended for civilian use.

The 9mm is a great round and very lethal. It is widely used by both military and law enforcement for both primary and backup weapons.
I understand ballistics and I know a 22 can be deadly as well.
