Because the original says it's true. If it says it's true, then it has to be true.
Remember, it was written by the most caring, kind hearted, open minded, understanding people to ever walk the Earth. This fact alone should authenticate its absolute accuracy. 
God is powerful enough to telepathically pass his inerrant word through time and space so a person can write it all down flawlessly, but is unable to guide the mind of a translator to get the translation right! Makes perfect sense. Oh, and you should believe it because there are some vague passages in there that can be stretched to sort of resemble things tangentially related to science.
The koran is a compilation of religious stuff. How much of it is true is directly proportional to how many people believe that it is true, divided by the number of people who don't...times zero.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

The side by side thing is just weird. There are two adults in my household who can read and speak "arabic"..of a grand total of two adults in my household - magic book says the same shit in any language.
