That isn't funny to you?

I once broke the glass of an antique  grandfather clock with a loaf of frozen loaf of french bread.

I also once painted an F-14 Tomcat fighter jet scale model  in camouflage, which was never a desert or jungle jet.

If anyone asked me to build exact replicas of stop signs mine would end up with triangles,  plaid and paisley.

If anyone remembers the story about the painting who restoration experts aske do fix the old painting of Jesus  Well seems Mary is the latest victim.

Well, I regret to inform you you fucked up even in assessing when you’ve fucked up.   The F-14 was a desert jet, painted in desert comouflage.   In Iranian Service.

I painted it in the 1980s thinking of prior wars Mainly WW2.

Think about your grass and less about about bombers and I bet you wont run over posts.

The F14 Tomcat didn't exist in WWII.

I actually WAS paying attention to the tarp, I simply got too focused on the grass around it and thought I could skim and skirt it without getting too close to it.

Kinda like sipping a straw, suction counts. I thought I could get close enough to trim the grass without damaging the tarp.

No shit!

Not the point. I liked camouflage as a pattern. I didn't know shit back in the 80s. All I knew is that I liked the pattern. I even wore camo pants with white collared shirts with argyle sweaters to high school. NO, It didn't make sense. But that is what I liked at the time.

So, you were thinking of WWII camouflage when you painted the model, but you didn’t know anything about camouflage when you painted the model.

Mowing question: why didn’t you get off the mower and move the tarp?

Time must be lost on you.

i didn't know shit back then.

I did know that the Tomcat was more modern, yes, but I didn't know shit about war tactics or why planes were painted for whatever reason.

Just like most people love Santa as a kid but grow up to know it is a myth.

I loved the Tomcat even outside of model painting, because it could fold it's wings in, and I loved the Corsaire because of it's bent wings. I knew NOTHING of why things were painted the way they were at the time. I only painted that Tomcat camo, was because I liked the  pattern.

And as far as the Tarp, despite your desire to paint me as pond scum, I was actually paying attention to it. I simply got greedy and felt I could mow the grass around it and got too close.
