Especially since Matthew 24:35 says, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away." You know, Heaven where God of Christianity lives, so he will also perish and is finite.

Except he returned to life unlike a mere mortal.

Also, just because someone dies, that does not make them finite.

Quite a few mere mortals came back to life according to the bible.

Strange that none of them seemed to fill in what hell and or hell seemed like in any great detail.
They all just buggered off into obscurity.

Yeah, people in the Bible were raised from the dead, like Lazarus but then he died again, just like Jesus will die when the Heaven perishes.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

... and some guy went straight to heaven on a fiery chariot in the Bible.

So is the God a God of the whole galaxy or just part of the galaxy? Does it go beyond galaxy and God is God of the whole galactic cluster? Or the believers believe that God is in charge of all the galaxies? I mean that is a lot of galaxies, stars, planets, and whatnot.

And if God is God of the whole universe is it just this universe or is he God of all other universes, or each universe has its own God?

Psalm 82 mentions how God has meetings with other gods so we see some division of power, perhaps gods of other galaxies or universes?

God's power is far greater than most realize. Perhaps the most terrifying indication of His power is the fact that He had no beginning, a concept we can hardly even begin to imagine.

More interestingly, He is not merely in control of all existence, but He is in control down to the most minute of details. The Scriptures say even the very hairs on our heads are numbered. That demonstrates not simply how much control He has, but how involved He is.

Most see Him as distant and preoccupied with running things. Not only does He run everything perfectly, it's no trouble for Him. He is omnipotent...that word is likely underestimated more often than not.

What sort of god do you believe in.  Is your god a sustainer of the laws of nature, or is your god active in changing the outcomes of nature?

The first type of god is indistinguishable from saying "the universe has laws".  It is far better to learn those laws than to pray to the universe.

The second type of god must be incompetent or evil, because it's done a terrible job.

Miles' description is some type of Calvinism, I guess.

God is the authority of creation as far reaching as that extends. to some it means the cosmos, to other all of time and space and other still to a multiverse. psalms 82 is a taunting rhyme in the hebrew that displays the knowledge and power of God to be smarter and stronger than what others worship. Remember psalms is not law. just a book of praises chants and songs. while there is truth in them it is not all foundational/literal.
