Hitler gained power by selling victimhood. He gained power by selling otherism. He gained power by scapegoating outsiders. He gained power by selling himself as the only cure. He gained power by vilifying the press. He gained power by purging his ranks of dissent.
Now, it is true that America has a Constitution that makes such tactics harder to be successful. But please spare me, Trump from the start, has used every fucking tactic Hitler did. If you want to argue anything, Trump sucked at it. He came close, but he never gained enough control like Hitler did.

I am still somewhat scared. Not as much since Nov 4th. But the fact today that the VP will not ceremonially confirm Biden's win today, because of Trump's incitement gives me pause long term.
