I do not believe in any gawds. That makes me an atheist. I do not claim to know that there are none. There simply isn't enough evidence to support the claim the theists make. That makes me agnostic as well as atheist. This is the reality of atheism. Like most everything else about humans, there's a spectrum.

You continue to demand we adhere to definitions from 70 fucking years ago, so I ask again, is English a dead language. Until you can respond intelligently to that question, further discussion is absolutely pointless since we will only be talking past each other.
By the way, you're assuming a position I do not hold, and arguing against it. This is a straw man argument, and while I understand you enjoy tilting at straw men, it's frowned on as a debate technique.

I do not do any "believing", Nudger. I've mentioned that a dozen times. Wake the hell up. If I do make any guesses...I designate them guesses, because that is what they are. I do not call them "beliefs" in an attempt to disguise the fact that they are guesses.
What I think is that EVERYONE who chooses to use the word "atheist" as a descriptor believes (guesses) that there are no gods...or that it is more likely that there are no gods than that there is at least one. But most people who use the descriptor atheist are not truthful enough to simply acknowledge that they do "believe" there are no gods...or that they do "believe" that it is more likely that there are no gods than that there is at least one.
That I have also mentioned a dozen times.
What the hell is there about that you cannot understand?
