teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

I've often thought my mouthy attribute had to do with me being slightly autistic. That and my inability to maintain eye contact for long during conversation.

That's that guy from the Police Academy. I don't know why I am so surprised to see him anywhere else. Maybe because he doesn't seem like he is a real actor. I mean I am glad he pulled some other role as well in his life which you can't say for most people in that movie(s).

As do I.

Never diagnosed, as I grew up before autism or "on the spectrum" were ever a thing.

I was called an "egghead", a "nerd", a "geek", "shy", "a late bloomer", and was uncoordinated, and flapped when excited, etc..  The whole gamut of (now) easily identifiable "symptoms".

Fortunately, things turned out pretty well, perhaps even *because of* this characteristic.

Today I said to my boss, "I just arrived at work and there was already an arsehole in my office!"

He replied, "Would you please stop calling me that?"
