I've often thought my mouthy attribute had to do with me being slightly autistic. That and my inability to maintain eye contact for long during conversation.

I was called an "egghead", a "nerd", a "geek", "shy", "a late bloomer", and was uncoordinated, and flapped when excited, etc.. The whole gamut of (now) easily identifiable "symptoms". Fortunately, things turned out pretty well, perhaps even *because of* this characteristic.
