If Uvalde is instructive , it seems to me that it’s gonna be the kid in the ice, and the cops unwilling to make the attempt. I guess it could be the other way around. They might try a teen as an adult for deprived indifference if they sat around slack jawed watching a cop die.
Jesus Christ you really are one dumb stoned asshole.

It' s about INCENTIVE ( look it up - I doubt you are familiar with the word)

The guy in the water has no option. It' s sink or swim.

Listening to NPR.
they just love this lie- "The Gun Show Loophole".
Sorry - it does not exist.
What does exist? Private sales. When one individual sells a gun to another individual.
By anti-gun logic - when I sell a 22 bolt action single shot rifle to my neighbor that I have known for 45 years - THAT is "the gun show loophole".
......
The really STUPID part?
If I do sell a rifle at a gun show to someone I don' t know ( which is legal) - I have no way of telling if the guy has warrants or felony convictions.
I can NOT call in a NICS check. I know - because I tried. There is no way for a private individual to do it.
Want to " close the gunshow loophole" ?
Allow and encourage private sellers access to the NICS system....

The gun show loophole doesn’t exist…the nut huffed, before offering a description of exactly such a thing.
I’m writing a childrens book. It’s gonna stand out, because in my book, all the kids die at the end. Not too quick, ofc. Maybe an hour, hour and a half? Really build the suspense you know?

So far we have
1. Hardening schools will work if the guards are Rambo anything less doesn't count as evidence against the idea. Despite the fact, that there is no"Hard Point" against a deranged maniac intent on going out in a suicidal blaze of hate.
2. Cops are allowed to be cowards because saving a school full of kids isn't enough of an "incentive" to deal with the mass murderer slaughtering them and the supreme court isn't going to make them.

I wonder if a crackhead would have taken 40 minutes to take out the shooter?

That’s why police depts offer so little money when they run a buyback. They know people will bite, they know there are tons of firearms in that range, and they know that these firearms…very specifically, are the ones they’re constantly finding in trace data.
That’s actually market saturation. In a flooded market, demand and prices drop to the point where excess inventory can’t be sold at any price. The US gun market won’t be flooded until no one wants any more guns.
