Boru - you just don' t get it - nor do you want to.
The police force had all the training - in taking down a school shooter. It was their job.
The Border Agent did not. There is no reason he would.
What it always comes down to is this - going into a combat situation you have NO way of predicting who will function and who will fold up.
Ask any experience combat vet.
No amount of training will ensure that an individual will operate under pressure - what it WILL do is make those that do function - function more efficiently.

I mean either, right? Back in mere reality, they had a plan. They’d just recently done drills. The SRO was Mia and a teacher propped the door open. Then, ofc, the cops just flat out failed before and after the shooter was onsite.

I'd like to point out that the border patrol agent DID NOT HAVE A WEAPON WITH HIM.
For some reason he doesn't think he needs to have his gun by his side all the time, even though he probably has made some enemies in carrying out his duties.
