Truman was trying to end a war. Hitler was trying to exterminate a race. What’s interesting is that you don’t see the difference.

What's interesting is that he needs for there to be no difference.

When it comes to bombing Hiroshima, it was bad but that is what happens when you start a war and attack other people - you get attacked back.
Ok, now we're going to resort to bald faced lying🙄
Is it your opinion that civilians (non combatants) are fair game in a war?
If you’re going to play that card, the Japanese are ultimately responsible for the deaths of civilians in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. They were told what would happen if they didn’t surrender. They refused and hundreds of thousands of civilians died.

Using your same logic, do you believe the sinking of the lusitania by a German U boat was the fault of America?

Don’t be daft. When the US dropped atomic bombs on Japan, the two countries were at war. How is the sinking of a British cruise ship by a German u-boat in a war in which the US was not yet a belligerent the fault of America?

Btw, it was easy for Truman to make the decision to bomb Japenese civilians because he was a damn WHITE SUPREMACIST, yet y'all have all this understanding and defend HIM but hate on Kanye for simply having an opinion,... a disagreeable opinion, but he didn't harm anyone.

The man who integrated your armed forces was a white supremacist? I think the most you can say about him was that he was a racist who got better.

Because the Germans declared those waters a warzone and the lusitania came through there trying to sneak military arms through using the civilian as cover.
Actually atleast a shop carrying military weapons can be considered a military target, more than what you can say about the Japanese victims.

Lol, so? That was a mistake made by the British. The Germans sank a ship carrying munitions. The fact that they were American munitions doesn’t leave America culpable for the sinking.
Your comparison between the two events would be better if the Germans demanded that the ship surrender and were refused.

Telling your enemy you're going to commit a war crime before you commit it doesn't really change a whole lot lol, at least if we're talking about this from the ethics perspective. It is ultimately the responsibility of the US, the nation that dropped the bombs.
