Limits audience? LMAO All we see is christians in that building because they are citizens of America who NEED our services. They can't pay for these services and they have no insurance. We're really the only option!

They are in there all the time getting free contraception and all sorts of general and reproductive healthcare. The audience is never limited, I assure you.

I held a 14 year old's hand last week as she got an abortion. She was home schooled, parents were fundies, never heard of a condom, and pregnant by her 16 year old brother. So she says, the DNA test results are pending, but in my professional opinion, it's her father's because he was the one who shamed her into getting an abortion. The brother? No shame upon him whatsoever, of course. The father, who said he was a pro-lifer, said he was only for this because "the baby would be a retard and Satan's child".

See, abortions are only bad when it's not your kid who is probably pregnant with your baby. He was totally against the DNA test, asserting that the scientists who analyze those tests are "loony". He thinks that by telling them it was the brother that the DNA would be identical to his. So if the results come back and it isn't her brother's, we will test her father. If it comes back his, he will be arrested and tried in a court of law, as he should be.

Planned Parenthood also helps get sick fucks off the street. The girl has since been placed in protective custody, and is still being cared for by PP.

Call yourself "Planned Parenting" and that disenfranchises a majority of people in your country (or so you tell me). Why be so nasty? If your [PP's] aim is truly to offer a service to women, why offer it with the huge stigma that it's all about elective abortion?

Some abortion is acceptable to all religious people, but they wouldn't want to use your [PP's] services because of the attached stigma.

It's like the victorians withholding food and shelter for lip service to religion. You're [PP are] no better.

Sorry fr0d0 you do NOT understand female reproduction at all!! Women have been "spontaneously aborting" since time immemoriam ....it has EVERYTHING to do with the capability to actually FEED and RAISE the offspring. There are many similar cases to be observed in Nature so it has little to do with the "wilfulness" of Females.

Things must be that crazy in Tennessee for the need to have four armed guards at an family planning clinic, even if it preforms abortions. As far as I know no abortion clinic in Australia needs to have armed guards.

I think you totally miss my point Kitchie. We're discussing elective abortion where there is a choice to terminate a life, and not natural or non elective abortion, for which there is a necessity.

"Planning" suggests a persons right to kill another person on trivial grounds. It's legal (I believe it should be a choice) to terminate life so many days after conception.

As for abortions I think it is right and proper to terminate a pregnancy but certainly abortion should not be used as an alternative contraception. Adrian...every woman's period is an abortion.

With so many people on the planet now we have the luxury of terminating UNWANTED PREGNANCIES (as contraception doesn't always work ...I have two children thanks to failed contraception) This does not mean I love them any less or more. BUT we ARE talking $$$ financial capability and for a woman like my mother who was SOOOOO fertile.... dooming a female to be continually "bare foot and pregnant" is a disgusting thing to do.

To be technical a fertilized egg does have the potential to become a human being, while a unfertilized egg does not have the potential to become a human being, likewise for male sperm.

It is a service they will protest against vehemently, until they need to use it.

Planned Parenthood encapsulates abortion to you? Abortion is something people who don't plan for parenthood get when they feel there is no other option. Be it for economical reasons, medical, religious, shame, or selfishness, it is always going to happen whether law permits, or stigma persists.

For offering abortion in a sterile, supportive environment, performed by real doctors, Planned Parenthood is frowned upon, targeted, ridiculed, and hated... by whom? Hypocritical, irrational, bible thumping, woman haters....

Fucking good. I hope the name drives those assholes crazy till the rapture. Fuck em, and I'll see their daughters next Tuesday.
